About the Event
New Sweden Lutheran Church will welcome cyclists from across Central Texas and preside over an outdoor Blessing of the Bicycles service on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Following the blessing, tours of the church will be offered.
As a favorite rest stop for cyclists, New Sweden Lutheran Church seeks to share a blessing of love, safety, and support for cyclists and the causes for which they ride.
This is a free community event in partnership with the Hill Country Ride for AIDS and Texas Mamma Jamma Ride, two local charity rides that raise awareness and funds to support better health outcomes for Central Texans. All are welcome and light refreshments will be provided. The total ride distance is 27 miles. Please come out if you can. The weather should be GREAT....
